Phoenix Fan Fusion ’24: A Celebration of Community and Collaboration
Gambit Recovery was thrilled to be a sponsor of this year's Phoenix Fan Fusion!
This three-day event, renowned for bringing together fans of comics, movies, and pop culture, was an incredible experience, filled with meaningful interactions, valuable outreach, and a sense of community that truly resonated with our mission. For the second year in a row our booth was a hub of activity throughout the convention.
We handed out free Narcan (also known as Naloxone, a life-saving medication that can rapidly reverse opioid overdoses), provided essential information on sobriety and sober living, And had the pleasure of engaging with countless attendees.
By distributing Narcan, we were able to educate and empower individuals with the tools needed to save lives and promote a safer community.
One of the highlights of our participation this year was the overwhelming support we received from the artist community. Prior to the conventions start, we reached out to numerous artists, inviting them to collaborate with us by donating pieces of their artwork for our free Plinko game. The response was nothing short of phenomenal. The generosity and enthusiasm of these artists added an exciting element to our booth, allowing us to give out beautiful art pieces and gifts as prizes to our visitors.
The participation from the artists was truly inspiring. Their selfless contributions not only enriched the experience for the attendees but also underscored the importance of community support in our efforts to promote sobriety and healthy living. Each piece of donated art represented a collaboration towards a common goal – bringing smiles to faces, helping those in need and spreading awareness about the resources available to them.
Seeing so many people come together to support Gambit Recovery was incredibly moving. The sense of community was palpable, and it was a powerful reminder of how much can be achieved when people unite for a worthy cause.
This year’s Phoenix Fan Fusion Convention was a testament to the strength and compassion of our extended network of supporters.
We are deeply grateful to everyone who visited our booth, engaged with our team, and participated in our Plinko game. Your support helps us continue our mission to provide better lives for those struggling with addiction. Together, we can make a significant difference.
