Building a Brighter Future: Gambit Recovery's Transformative Impact in Kitsap County.

At Gambit Recovery, we are thrilled to share our journey of becoming one of the most sought-after recovery residence resources in the nation.

We have opened in the State of Washington!!

Under the visionary leadership of our Founder, Tom Fay, and Kimberly Hendrickson the Housing, Health and Human Services Director of the City of Poulsbo, we are creating a vibrant community of recovery and assistance in Kitsap County that is making a profound impact. Our collaborative efforts are not only providing crucial support to those in need but are also fostering community growth by creating jobs, reuniting families, and breaking the stigma associated with addiction.

The Heart of Recovery: North Kitsap Recovery Center

Opened late last year, the North Kitsap Recovery Center has quickly become a beacon of hope for anyone living, working, or facing legal challenges in North Kitsap or Bainbridge Island. Offering a comprehensive range of services, including peer support, nursing, Narcan, medical evaluations, and counseling. Remarkably, a high majority of the individuals who have sought help did so voluntarily, highlighting the center's strong community presence and trust.

The center is already set to expand its reach with the addition of a new space adjacent to the center in Poulsbo Village. This new space, expected to open in June, will provide vital social opportunities for the local recovery community, an essential element in the recovery process. Washington State Rep. Greg Nance aptly described the center's impact, stating, "Poulsbo is punching well above its weight. It's a remarkable success story."

We are committed to ensuring that this expanded facility continues to serve as a cornerstone of recovery and community support.

The Impact of Gambit Recovery Houses

A significant part of the success of this new program is the opening of Gambit Recovery houses in Kitsap County, with the first home located in Poulsbo at Nelson Park. Gambit Recovery is known for providing upscale, highly structured recovery residences that offer more than just a place to stay. These sober living houses are designed to foster personal success and community improvement.

With our proven program now established in Kitsap County, we have implemented an employment track for all participants. This initiative ensures that residents are not only maintaining their sobriety but also gaining valuable job skills and opportunities. The employment track is a vital component of our program, as it helps residents build a stable foundation for their future.

Our sober living houses are much more than just houses; they are part of a comprehensive program focused on the success of the individuals residing in them. Each residence is part of a supportive community where participants can thrive, develop new skills, and rebuild their lives. The structured environment includes regular drug and alcohol tests, mandatory attendance at 12-step meetings, and engagement in Gambit Recovery classes.
